When Katy Perry Dresses for the Theater, She Sparkles

If Katy Perry is any indication—and we think she is, "going-out tops" are officially back. We had heard rumors of the re-emergening trend but Perry just sealed the deal.

Perry has spent much of the week promoting her new single with Migos called "Bon Appetit" by doing wacky things like handing out cherry pies to fans in Times Square and baking a pie for a video with Tasty.

But when she's not serving treats, she is serving looks. The style savvy blonde wore a shimmering gold mock neck tank top to The Music Box to see the smash hit musical Dear Evan Hansen on her night off. She kept the rest of her look cool in the New York almost-summer heat with PVC-embellished culottes, which she accessorized with silver sandals, chunky gold rings, a white watch, and a quilted chrome bag.

Since switching to a lighter hair color, Perry has been playing with her makeup and opting for softer hues. She finished her look with pastel pink lips, blue eye winged liner and full brows.

Perry's food-related promos are in perfect correlation with the lyrics from her new single. Those cherry pies were right in line with her lyric, "Want to keep your satisfied / I'm the world's best cherry pie / I am on the menu." Knowing Perry, anything she serves from style to food is going to be on trend and piping hot.
